However, their unity was shattered when the Marshmallow Warriors betrayed their trust, leading to their banishment beyond the city walls into the unknown.

Though the Candy Critters carried on, the betrayal left an indelible mark, a wound that festered beneath their candy-coated exterior. Time passed, but the Critters never forgot the Marshmallow Warriors—or the mysterious fate that awaited them outside the city.
